I potty-trained my oldest child following the "How to Potty Train in a Day" method. It worked great, and I was planning on using the same method with my second. However, before starting, I discovered a wonderful new method of potty training. I was considering having a book published, outlining my new method, but since I am slim on time, I am posting it here, instead. It is actually a surprisingly simple method, however there are two requirements: you must have 1) a child ready to be potty trained, and 2) a spouse who wants your child potty trained more than you do.
Simply follow these two steps:
1) When your spouse mentions that your child is ready to be potty trained, shrug your shoulders noncommitally, and reply, "Yes, he is, but I am not ready to train him."
2) Repeat
If you follow these fail-safe steps, your child should be potty trained in a matter of weeks, and with a minimal amount of work (from you).
As further proof of the efficacy of this method, I refer you to Drew, who has been clean and dry for two weeks now, thanks to Daddy.
