Data point #1:  E.J. brought home an "about me" worksheet from school, where he filled in his favorite thing to do.  And what was it?  Watch Star Wars!  This may not seem odd, except that he has never watched a Star Wars movie, nor do we own any of the movies. 

Data point #2:  I regularly take my kids to the library, at which time they spend as much time as they have pouring over the DVD's (which are placed at the entrance to the children's room, right at their level).
