Making Friends

This year, we celebrated Patriot's Day in Acton Ma, where we rode the a trolley between various18th & 19th century historic sites.

The boys (and grandma) joined a musket drill with Sgt.William Foxcourt, and learned how to carry a musket as the Minute Men did.    They were enjoined to fight for their homes, their families, and their sacred rights of freedom.

Drew found a friend, just his size: a 6-week old "baby cow," about whom he is still talking.  The calf was kind enough to let Drew hang out with him and pet him for quite a while.

Drew likes getting his photo taken so much that after I took it with the calf, he said "Take Drew picture, sheep"  Hmm, can you tell that he knows his photo is being taken?

E.J., on the other hand, was enthralled by the musical ensemble.

After he listened to three of four songs, they even let him join in on the drum.

Not to be outdone by her brothers, Mae continues to charm all those she meets with her abundant smiles,

and her bubble-blowing skills.
